The young people who created these sculptures have named this exhibition 'Migatrons from the Planet Argon'. The name Migatrons was derrived from the welding equipment used to create them called a Mig Welder. Similarly the word Argon is from the sheilding gas used in the welding process called Argon.
The Migatrons have been created by using dismatled parts from cars, motorbikes and cycles.
Motorvations is currently exhibiting fifteen pieces of sculpture created by young people in the Map Room at City Hall. The exhibition will coincide with the launch of the National Playday for Children on 5th August.

Once the exhibition closes on 14th August, all sculptures will be auctioned on our charity ebay site. All money received will be used to enable more young people to continue to develop art and other skills. Anyone wishing to register an interest in purchasing these items or in commissioning the production of any similar items should contact Motorvations by email at Motorvations@mail.com
